Missing Sox Week #3

Game #1:

Everyone came to bowl, Terry had a terrific 148, I had an OK 150, Deb contributed a solid 145, but Bob was King of the game rolling a 234 game, for a combind 677 scratch, and 834 handicap. For the LaneBlazers only Mark was under average with a 145 game, everyone else bowled well.  We took the game by 60 pins.

Game #2

Terry ratcheted it up a notch rolling a 169.  I bested her only slightly with a 173, and Deb had another solid game with a 152.  Bob had a power outage (see quote) and rolled a stinky 137, giving us a 631 scratch, 788 handicap game.  The Laneblazers were hot and lukewarm this game with  Diane and Dom rolling in the 150's, and Dave, and Mark rolling in the 210's.  The Laneblazers took the game by 30 pins.

Game #3

Terry got tired again - eat more Wheaties!!! She struggled a bit rolling a 135 (still quite excellent though.)  I had my best game of the night despite an split and open in the 10th, with a 197 game.  Deb had a superb 171, and Bob came back into form with a 195.  While Dave had a great game rolling a 234, and both Mark and Dom had games between 180-190, we sucked it up and won the last game by 13 pins taking 6 points.

Silver Medal: Terry Schmidt: did really well, just not as well as Deb.  Had three games above average, rolling a 452 series which was 20 pins over average
Bronze Medal: Bob Emerson: had an up and down (and up again) night.  Rolling a 234 first game which was temporarily good for league high game scratch.  After stinking in game two, he came back with a solid 195 in game three giving him a 566 series which was 11 pins over average
Papier-mâché : Paul Sluckis:  he was ONLY 10 pins OVER average with a 520 series, rolling two above average games.
